Energy Saving Stone Wool Production Line

Stone wool products are manufactured from high-quality basalt, dolomite, and other raw materials. Through high-temperature melting and high-speed centrifugation using a four-axis centrifuge, materials are transformed into fibers. During this process, binders, dustproof oil, and water repellents are precisely applied. The fibers are collected, then cured and cut using pendulum and three-dimensional fiber laying methods to create rock wool products in various specifications and applications. As inorganic fibers processed through high-temperature melting, rock wool products offer lightweight construction, low thermal conductivity, excellent insulation properties, and superior flame retardancy, making them widely applicable across multiple industries.

Production Process Overview

Raw Material Feeding System

Raw materials (stones) are transported to the site by truck, stored under protective roofing, and conveyed indoors via enclosed conveyors to silos. Materials undergo individual weighing and precise mixing before entering the furnace.

Centrifuge Machine

Melted material flows from the furnace onto spinning wheels. Fibers are drawn from the spinning wheels using powerful airflow and injected into the spinning chamber for further processing.

Crimping Machine & Pressing Machine

Mineral wool is uniformly layered to achieve the desired thickness. Depending on the product type (batts or boards), mineral wool fibers are configured as either single or dual density structures.

Longitudinal Cutting Machine

In the cutting area, vertical cuts are made to achieve standard dimensions of 60cm. Two machine specifications are available: 1.2m and 2.4m models to accommodate different production requirements.

Film Shrinkage Type Packing Machine

Finished products are systematically stacked, wrapped in protective polyethylene film, and palletized before transportation to the finished goods storage area.
